PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Vasco Da Gama, Goa was established in 1971 in Defence Sector (Navy) in the Varunapuri Campus of INS Hansa, District-Murmugao in Goa State pursuing excellence in Education to nurture young minds towards nation building. In Primary section from the year 2015, on every alternate Fridays, parents of class from I to V had started taking one hour session for the tiny tots, mainly based on learning by doing. Simple principles and concepts of science are shown to the children. The children also got a chance on hands-on experiments like for class-I blowing balloons to understand that air occupies space etc.
